Vision
The ultimate vision is a sustainable community. The sustainability center is the headquarters where we teach, learn, develop and empower ourselves to create the kind of sustainable future we want.

Approach
We have identified some of the main areas in any self-sufficient community that need to be considered and addressed. These areas are not the only areas we focus on but they do represent a good majority of essential elements for any sustainable community. These segments include:

  • Eco-systems
  • Energy
  • Water
  • Food
  • Housing
  • Waste

Initial Meetings
We've begun to hold community meetings to bring together the ideas of the people. The first meeting which took place in August 2007 had a great showing of over 100 people. The results of that meeting are documented and available for your review here.

Participate
If you haven't attended one of our community meetings, you should! We'd love to see you out. However, if you want, you can submit some of your thoughts and ideas using our online participation form. Just fill out the form below, send it in and we'll record that and add it to the running list found here (PDF).
